USA: Stolen Vehicle Pursuit Ends in Arrest After High-Speed Chase

A man was arrested in Pacoima after LAPD spotted his stolen silver Honda on the 405 Freeway. The suspect, reaching speeds over 90 mph on the I-5, weaved through traffic. Despite briefly losing him, the LAPD chopper and CHP units aided in tracking.

Exiting the freeway, the suspect left the Honda at a gas pump at The 76 gas station near 13131 Foothill Boulevard, jumped into the back seat of a black BMW, and attempted to flee on foot at an intersection. Officers quickly apprehended him, and the driver was taken into custody in Pacoima around 6:45 a.m.
